Track release ‘Walk Away’

 Neptune Blue, release the track, “Walk Away” from their upcoming album, New Horizons, due out later this year. The group worked with the world-renowned Ronald Prent, producer/mixing engineer to legends, including David Bowie, Def Leppard, Rammstein, Simple Minds, Queensryche, Van Halen and The Police. Prent, along with guest musicians, Steve Stout (of Lifehouse) and  Neil Taylor (Tears for Fears, Tina Turner),  had a significant impact on Neptune Blue’s sound.

Their forthcoming release, built upon layers of experimentation, draws on very urban rock influence and strong riffs and heavy melodies spawned by their lead singer, Chris Hodges that have been described as
“…on par or better than many of the top male rock vocalists out there.” (The Examiner)”

Comprised of  Hodges, Hugo Hoeksma, Andrew James,  Greg Pajer and Zak St. John, Neptune Blue’s members have roots in high-profile projects.
Hodges is a professional singer and songwriter for over 10 years, who regularly records and performs with artists across the world.

Hugo Hoeksma is a producer / songwriter and lead guitarist from Amsterdam for whom it was a personal quest to bring this band together. He has toured with countless acts, performing on TV spots such as The Tonight Show as well as at esteemed festivals and venues across the globe.

James has recorded and toured with many of today’s top producers and artists including Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, and Karmin, among others, has performed on The Tonight Show, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Jimmy Kimmel Show, Live with Kelly, The View, The Rachael Ray Show, Good Morning America, Entertainment Tonight, Coachella, SXSW and many more.

St. John is one of the busiest drummers in LA.  His clients include  Stevie Wonder, The B-52’s, NFL on Fox, Sony Music and Warner Brothers. Together, the group fashion a guitar-driven hybrid of rock and pop elements, rooted in influences like  Foo Fighters, Stone Sour, Linkin Park and Alter Bridge, as well as live orchestral elements and 80s-style harmonies.
